Data controller

VEA Group S.p.A., Via Industriale 1, 24040 Chignolo d'Isola (BG), Italy, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. For any privacy matter you can write to info@veagroup.com.

What we collect

When you use one of our forms (contact, distributor application, OEM inquiry) we collect the data you provide: name, email address, telephone number, company name, country, business type, product interest, volumes and markets where relevant, the content of your message, and your consent choices. We also record the page the request came from and, where present, campaign parameters in the URL. No special categories of data are requested.

Why we process it

• To answer your enquiry and provide the information, quotations or documentation you asked for.
• To route your enquiry to our authorised local partner (distributor or service partner) in your market, where one is appointed, so that they can contact you. Those partners act as autonomous recipients of your data.
• To send you the product and company information you explicitly asked to receive, where you gave that consent.

Legal bases

Processing is based on your consent (forms and, separately, analytics cookies and marketing updates) and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and maintaining our commercial relationships. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

Service providers

We use a small number of suppliers who process data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions:

• Email delivery — Resend, for transactional email notifications.
• CRM — Apollo.io, to manage and follow up commercial enquiries.
• Analytics — Google Analytics 4, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, no analytics requests are sent.
• Hosting and infrastructure — our website hosting provider.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising or profiling cookies. Only technical cookies necessary to serve the site and, subject to your consent, Google Analytics 4 measurement cookies are used. Consent Mode is applied: analytics, advertising, ad user data and ad personalisation storage are all denied by default, and the analytics tag is loaded only after you accept. You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

Retention

Enquiries and the related contact data are kept for up to 24 months from the last contact, after which they are deleted, unless a longer period is required by law or to defend a legal claim.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of our suppliers and our authorised partners may be located outside the European Economic Area. In those cases transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you may request access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing or withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights write to info@veagroup.com; we reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
